Revere Parks and Recreation launches 2026 summer lineup featuring sports clinics, free weekly events, and field trips through August.

REVERE -- The Revere Parks and Recreation Department has unveiled its 2026 summer program schedule under Director Michael Hinojosa, offering residents a broad mix of sports programming, entertainment, and special events running through mid-August.

Sports offerings this summer include Basketball Skills & Drills, Lacrosse Skills & Drills, a Soccer Clinic, Sunshine Soccer Tots, a Summer Basketball League, T-Ball, and a Tennis Clinic, among other activities. The department is also highlighting the Robert J. Haas Jr. Health and Wellness Center at 321 Charger Street as a new addition to its recreation offerings.

Free weekly programming runs Monday through Thursday at local parks, with Mondays featuring inflatables, Tuesdays entertainment, Wednesdays performances, and Thursdays story time with characters. Theatre Thursdays will offer free weekly outdoor movies beginning July 9. The Sunday Night Concert Series launches July 5 and runs through August 16.

Friday Field Trips are scheduled to destinations including Canobie Lake Park (July 10), a Red Sox game (July 22), Tree Top Adventures (July 31), Water Country (Aug. 7), and Six Flags (Aug. 14).

Registration is available in person, online, or by phone through Community Pass. Payment is required at the time of registration. Fee assistance is available to qualified Revere residents on a confidential basis through the department office. Non-residents may register but Revere residents receive first priority.
