REVERE --
COMMUNITY -- Erica DiCicco, a Revere parent, organized a cornhole tournament at Beechmont School Field on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to raise money for the DRWE dance team's competition costs. DiCicco told the License Commission the event, her first of its kind, brought in local vendors including Twisted Fate and Bon Appetit, and she revised her attendance estimate down to 50 to 75 people from an initial 100. The commission approved a one-day malt, wine and common victualler license for the event, with Twisted Fate setting up a roped-off, supervised area to keep alcohol service limited to attendees 21 and older.
Compiled from team and league reports, reader submissions, and local coverage.
