REVERE — The Revere High School Building Committee approved $8.9 million in construction invoices and endorsed a donor recognition wall design. The panel's largest approval was an $8,276,264.98 payment to general contractor Consigli, alongside smaller invoices to Left Field, Briggs Engineering and Testing, and a combined Perkins Eastman, VHB and GZA payment. Project presenter Brian Dakin said the build is 20 percent complete and "very financially secure," tracking 44 days ahead of its November 8, 2028, completion date, though the team is monitoring concrete cracks in three spots on Building E's foundation walls.
The committee also unanimously backed a wave-themed donor wall for the school's second floor, funded through the High School Building Stabilization Account. Members welcomed Steve Chinossi as the school's new deputy principal, who told the panel, "It's Chinossi, like Chianti," correcting the pronunciation of his name on air.
