BOSTON — February 12, 2026 — Boston PIC approves key permits for 111-unit Roxbury development and utility pole relocation. The Boston Public Improvement Commission voted unanimously February 12 to accept a pedestrian easement and approve public-way repairs on Malcolm X Boulevard tied to a proposed six-story building at 10 through 20 Malcolm X Boulevard — a development by 10MX Owner LLC replacing a surface parking lot with 111 rental units, 1,900 square feet of retail, and a 15-bay bike-share station. The public-way repair vote passed 4-0 with one abstention from ISD Commissioner Brian Ronan, who had joined the meeting midway through the presentation. The commission also unanimously approved an Eversource Energy request to relocate a utility pole 27 feet along C Street in South Boston to clear a new construction driveway. Four additional petitions — including a Verizon fiber-placement request tied to the rebuilt North Washington Street Bridge and a sidewalk cafe license for 176 Federal Street, where Ronan flagged active facade-collapse violations — were continued to the February 26 hearing.
