Engineers from Woodward and Curran presented a plan to replace aging 8- to 10-inch clay pipes along Tileston and Girdlestone Roads with lines up to 48 inches in diameter and relocate the stormwater outfall to the Pleasant Park Yacht Club at 562 Pleasant Street, fitted with a duckbill tide gate to block tidal surcharge; the estimated construction cost is $4 to $4.5 million, with a construction start targeted for October 2027.
