Lally's Legends Overcome Seven-Point Deficit to Win BNBL 15-and-Under Game 42-37

BOSTON — July 22, 2026 — Lally's Legends defeated the Condon 42-37 Tuesday in a Boston Neighborhood Basketball League boys 15-and-under game at the Condon Community Center in South Boston. The Condon opened on a 7-0 run fueled by Josiah Zolorzano's offensive rebounding and a three-pointer from Leidson Semedo, but Lally's Legends countered with a 15-4 run built on three steals from Mario Blazy and outside shooting from Ryan McDonald, who finished with a game-high 13 points. At halftime, sideline reporter Seth Orensky relayed that Lally's head coach Greg Lally identified poor rebounding and insufficient ball pressure as early problems, saying his team "need to do a better job boxing out and moving the ball." The Condon pulled within one in the second half on back-to-back threes from Jamari Simmons and Semedo, but Robert Wisniewski hit a three to push Lally's lead to ten with three minutes remaining, and the Legends held on for the five-point win in their second meeting of the season with the Condon.
