Boston PFC Approves All Nine DND Property Votes in Unanimous Session

BOSTON — July 22, 2026 — Boston's Public Facilities Commission unanimously approved all nine Department of Neighborhood Development property votes at its July 22 meeting, advancing affordable housing, open space, and park projects across Dorchester, Roxbury, and South Boston. Chair Catherine Craven and Commissioner Larry Momoli approved tentative developer designations for Codman Square Health Center, the Boston Food Forest Coalition, Margaret Gossman, and PWN Development Incorporated — the last for four Roxbury parcels at a combined $400, producing seven deed-restricted affordable units. The commission authorized conveyance of 11 Dorchester parcels to Boston Partnership for Community Reinvestment LLC for $1,100, a transaction expected to generate $50,423 in new annual property tax revenue and 30,524 construction hours, and transferred a completed 16,500-square-foot South Boston park to the Boston Parks and Recreation Commission. Two six-month extensions were granted to Urbanica Incorporated — for projects at 405 Washington Street and 120-122 Hancock Street in Dorchester — with both facing a June 29, 2021 ZBA hearing and both expected to return for conveyance votes by year's end.
