Boston English Shuts Out O'Brien 30-0 as Kerr Rushes for Three Touchdowns
BOSTON — July 22, 2026 — Boston English Eagles blank O'Brien Tigers 30-0 in Boston City League play. Running back Keyshawn Kerr carried 11 times for 128 yards and three touchdowns, including a 67-yard burst to open the second half, earning game MVP honors; quarterback Marco Osorio added 86 rushing yards and converted all three two-point attempts via quarterback keeper. O'Brien, which fell to 0-4, mustered minus-3 yards of offense in the first half and 52 total yards, playing without injured starter Omar Larama and starting sophomore Kendrell Gilbert for the first time. "It was my line," Kerr said postgame. "They just made it possible for me to be able to break through and just do what I do." English coach Ryan Conway, a former East Boston assistant, pointed ahead: "We play Latin Academy next week, and then we'll see what happens after that," leaving open a potential three-way tie for the Boston North lead if East Boston lost to Latin Academy the same night.
